    I may be too much of a novice for you. Absolute beginner. I live in Bed-Stuy and I'm open to being made to look incompetent. I have a $15 racket and some cheap balls, but I'm willing!

    Hey! I have only hit a ball against a wall and chased it around. Not a proper game, except maybe when I was 11 -- and that was a LONG time ago. :) My weekends are pretty free so I'm open as far as courts in Brooklyn are concerned. Just let me know if you want to deal with an absolute beginner. I'm a pretty quick study, though.
