Angeliki, sorry for the late reply. I didn't even know you left me a msg. LOL! USTA is in flushing. Take 7 to Shea stadium and you will see it. This is where they play the US OPEN. By the way, Angela, Dan, and I will be playing there this Sunday at 11am. Let me know if you will like to join us. It should be a beautiful day. Don't worry about the different level. I am will be happy to hit some w/ you and help you out on the game.
Hi Angeliki! It's great to have you here!

Please Invite your buddies. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)

Welcome to the fun and infectious "community-based" tennis website which connects players, fans, coaches and pros.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Join the group in your area and introduce yourself in there. Some groups have regular meeting times and some are more one-on-one and flexible. If there’s no group in your area yet, start a group page for your town and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Other places to explore: come talk tennis in the forum, add your own photos, post your own blog entries.
Hi Angeliki-
I'm a beginner too, I'm currently in a level II class at USTA in Flushing. I live in Astoria and would love to get some more practice in. I would be interested in playing some week day evenings or on the weekends. Let me know if you are interested.
Oh no! So sorry to hear about your foot. I'd love to get in some non-competitve practice. Have wanted to play on the Astoria Park courts but haven't had the chance yet. Contact me once you are healed!
I am also a beginner who loves to play, I have taken classes at USTA and used to play 2x a week with a group in Alley Pond before moving here to Astoria. I get out of work by noon the latest so I am available to play in the afternoons during the week and weekends. Let me know if you would like to meet up sometime. And thanks for starting the group.
Jena
Hey...would you play weekends in the morning.I am 28, and played on a team in H.S, but honestly, didnt play much since then so I guess I am considered a beginner.
