I live in west loop/Chicago and am looking for fellow tennis players for a casual game. I just started a summer or two ago so I'm an ok player. As they say below for skill level "I'm getting there". An occasional tip would be great. Looking forward to playing this summer!

Hey, if you're looking for play during the week, I'm in South Loop and can get over to the West fairly easily.

Hey Danielle, I live in the west loop area too and I'm looking to start playing this summer. It's been a couple of years since I played and I'd say that I'm probably on the same boat as you (casual player, about 3.0). Let me know if you'd like to play sometime. Weekday evenings 6ish work best for me.
    Cheers!
    Sudu.

hey i saw you live in the west loop area. so do i. you wanna meet up and play tennis sometime, maybe this weekend? sunday? let me know.. bye!
  • Paul

Well I've not played any evening, so I'm not sure if any of the courts here fill up fast at that time. Grant Park does have an extra disadvantage in that they charge hourly (if they catch you, naturally), but it's close enough to me if you want to play there. Otherwise, I'd suggest Sheridan Park (on 910 S. Aberdeen St.) or Skinner Park (1331 W. Addams St.), both in the West Loop. And I can play pretty much any time you like (I unfortunately do not work currently).

Hey, how about next Tuesday around 6:15pm at the Skinner Park courts? Will that work for you?

    Later!
  • Patrick

Great! Actually, I just moved to Chicago and I am not too familiar with the different parks in the area. I'm sure any suggestions you may have on where to play will work just fine...
