Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I just recently moved to Winter Park for a relocation with my company, and I'm still getting used to the Florida lifestyle.
I love tennis and have been looking for a tennis group since I moved to Orlando from LA in November. I played competetively through high school and college, I'm an intermediate advanced player looking to play singles and doubles. My schedule is a little hectic, but I'll play whenever I can.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Jean Michael Gambil
Roddick
Kournikova
Serena

Hi Charlie! It's great to have you here!
I see you already joined a Group – fantastic. Invite your buddies.

We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis website which puts the focus on the members.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Join the group in your area and introduce yourself in there. Some groups have regular meeting times and some are more on-on-one and flexible. If there’s no group in your area yet, start a group page for your town and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
Other places to explore:
- come talk tennis in the forum
- add your own photos
- post your own blog entries.
I'm also semi new to the area as well im only a 3-3.5 and not too good with my serve yet - but if you dontmind a tennis bud let me know - Wouldn't mind playign someone better than me to get better - seemed to work for softball (joining a team with all better players.)
Hi Charlie, hope you're having a great day today. I just joined and grew up in Winter Park. Sounds like my experience is along the same lines as yours. If you get around to being free, let me know, we can talk and go from there. Thanks.
