Too funny! There is a group I started on here called Oahu Players.
There are 30+ members so far. We have been thinking about some sort of get together. In Honolulu, or maybe Central Oahu park. Join up and maybe we can organize something. Thanks, Dan Delete Comment

Hi! It's great to have you here! This is our *new* generic welcome message that fortunately,is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and I just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)

Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.

Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.

The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.… and just hang out and meet great people.

    Welcome aboard,
    Mark

Hey, totally nice and sweet of you to leave the message for me! I can't really make out your face from your display picture.. Kinda tiny! But I guess you are good looking too! By the way, do you have any idea what NRTP is? What does it mean also with the accompanying numbers, 1.0,3.0, etc?

I'll be there in the morning. Thanks for the note. Sounds like it was a good time this evening.

Hello Scotty! Can I call you Scotty? I think it's cute, calling you Scotty! =D

I'm awfully glad you are enjoying your life! Being happy and living your life to the fullest is all that matters. Playing the sports you enjoy most is all that matters! And I'm sure you'll still be good-looking at your age! =D I definitely agree with you that a simple life is a happy one. I will take note of the acronym K.I.S.S! Indeed, keep it simple stupid! =D

Yeah, I think playing sports is a great way to stay fit, in fact, it is the only way to stay fit besides having a healthy diet. Singaporeans are also very lazy when it comes to exercising.. Many are just too busy with their busy schedules, totally no time to commit to sports! Even when there is free time, family and leisure time comes next on the list, not exercising.

Personally, I have never really been so active in sports until I started on tennis. In the past I play basketball, volleyball and badminton occasionally, for social reasons. Then there's was a long pause when I didn't have any interest in sports at all.. I don't know when and how tennis popped into my life. It really changed me. I just couldn't stop once I have started on tennis! I think I'm really in love with tennis. When I started out on tennis, that was I think around January last year, I went all out, I bought all my tennis equipment with my own allowance (my parents didn't support me in the sport I love, they said it was a waste of time. Nevertheless I went forth in the sport I love). Then I searched for a coach to give me lessons on tennis. Until now I'm still under him.. Still practicing! Tennis is all about practice.. I also placed most of my interests in tennis, by reading up on the news related to tennis, watched the tennis matches that world class players play on youtube, so many things I did, to catch up and stay updated in the world of tennis.

Apart from tennis, I also play other sports to stay fit and to strengthen my stamina. Tennis really requires stamina! I play badminton more often with my church pastor and friends (really hard core badminton, because I really get to sweat out!). They are really good players! I also head to the gym with my school friends occasionally. And go trekking whenever I can with my family.

Oh yes, I haven't told you, I'm currently taking up a 3 year nursing course in Singapore. I'm now in my last year, and will graduating soon in April next year. After which I will be working at a public hospital for another 3 years (I signed a contract with the hospital that I will work there are 3 years after I obtain my diploma).

Talk to you soon and waiting for your reply,

    Catherine

    Bye Scotty! =)

    Hey Catherine,

I would love to type a nice long email like yurs, but unfortunately I am getting to for my saturday which is about 4-6 hours of tennis. It really is a fun sport, which is also a social thing with friends. I was good when I was 2o, but had quit due to tendenitis. Which after 14 years of not playing dont hurt anymore. But after quitting tennis, I started playing volleyball, most of the time 3-4 times a week. After 14 years of volleyball, now my rotator cuff is shot. I need to have surgery and after that 6-9 months it should be fine. But I really have to go eat breakfast, tenni stats in 30 minutes. It was a nice email you sent me. Keep it up and do whatever you want to do in life, not what someone else wants you to do. I am surrounded by nurses. Ok sweetie have a nice day and type more later.

    Bye cutie,

    Scotty B.
