Hi Chris! Everyone is new here. :-) We launched on Christmas eve.
I see you already joined a Group(s) – fantastic - introduce yourself in there to meet people for matches.
If you need any help, let me know. Invite your buddies.

We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis website which puts the focus on the members.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Join the group in your area and introduce yourself in there. Some groups have regular meeting times and some are more one-on-one and flexible. If there’s no group in your area yet, start a group page for your town and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.

Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.

Other places to explore: come talk tennis in the forum, add your own photos, post your own blog entries.

…and just hang out and meet great people.

    Welcome aboard,
    Mark

Yo dude, how's it going? I added you as a friend on my page. I live in Redwood- my usual courts are Red Morton or Canada College... My tennis buddies and I are all around the 3-4 level, so if you ever want a frendly match (singles and/or doubles) let me know! later- rafael
  • Rafael

Damn! Good thing you're relatively okay! People now-a-days drive too crazy and they do not know how to handle their cars-I feel like it's a battle zone every day I am out on the roads!! Hang in there Chris, later
  • Rafael

    Okay,
I'll see if I can get everbody together- i'll try in a week or two, cause Jim is busy this weeekend. Would you have trouble heading down to Redwood City's Red Morton Tennis Courts??? If not we could try someplace central for all of us... later, raf
  • Rafael

Great, I'll try to set something up next week at Red Morton, the courts are nice and well lit... Which courts in your area do you prefer? I know that Central Park is decent- I like them 'cause they're close to downtown- Bean Street Coffee, Pancho Villa's and Jamba Juice!!
  • Rafael

Yo Chris, if you are in for double next weekend- Saturday morning 03/29, let me know- I am setting up a group now- then we can hit up Central Park for our next meet... what do you think?
  • Junko

Thank you for adding me to your list :)
  • Rafael

Okay, I'll see about getting folks there Sat, around noon... later!
  • Adri

Hi Chris, do you have time to hit? what's your schedule like?
  • Junko

That would be wonderful, Chris. I look forward to a group meeting :)
  • Adri

My schedule for tennis is: Wednesdays and Fridays after 5 pm and weekends. I can make it on Saturday , see you there!! Adri
  • Junko

Sounds fun! Red Morton Park on Roosevelt Ave in Redwood City, right? I will try to make it there.
  • Rafael

Yeah- Roosevelt Ave, RWC... It sounds like there will be a few of us there! See you then, raf
  • Rafael

Dang Chris, you rip! Your shots are mean and clean! It was cool meeting you yesterday and I hope to play again, later- raf
  • AdrianK

Thanks for adding me as your friend. I'm a baseliner, prefer to rally and practice shots than play competitive games. Let me know if you want to hit. I'm available on weeknights and weekends. Give me few days for my knee to recover to 100% because I played on last Sat morning and afternoon pulled a muscle on the knee that afternoon. My wheels are one of my strength, beside, I think I need 100% condition to play you since you are 4.0/5.0.
  • AdrianK

BTW, I'm 4.0 on rally and can play non-stopped for 3-4 hr. :)
  • AdrianK

Pls let me know when the next meet-up is. I'll try to join.
  • Kasha

wow thanks! i followed that link and actually found that there are 8 people near me and another 30+ in the counties nearby.
    i appreciate your help! <3
