Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I haven't played regularly for about 6 years, so I'm not sure what my skill level is. I'd love to just get back in the swing of things (pardon the pun), preferably playing at a park or somewhere else where it's free.

Hi Leila! It's great to have you here! Thanks for joining. I see you already joined the Portland Group – fantastic, have fun!

We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis social network which puts the focus on the members.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
Shucks, I'm working on packing this weekend and moving the next, but I'd love to get out and work on getting back into the swing of things too (I'm also really rusty and am looking to play more for fun)
I also haven't played in about 6 years but the few times I've been out with beginners have had me wanting to find more people to play against. I live in SW but willing to go to any park. Rain this weekend but the first dry day maybe you'd be up for a game?
Hi, I haven't played much in a while. I used to play more regularly but that was 5 or 6 years ago! I'm not sure how I stack up because when I tried to play recently the other person couldn't keep it in the court. That left me frustrated and wanting to seek out some people that could hit it back in the court and make it competitive. I don't mind playing people better than me, if they can handle it. I'm pretty competitive so that just drive's me to get better. Let me know if you'd like to play sometime.
I'd love to get together and play a little tennis.
It has been a long while since I have played and when I did it was with a buddy of mine that was very good. He taught me a few things but who knows if I remember them.
Let me know. I am available most evenings after 6 and Saturday before 10 and after 4 and all day Sundays.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
Other places to explore:
- come talk tennis in the forum
- add your own photos
- post your own blog entries.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
