Where do you play at? I will be looking for a group for doubles on the weekend. I don't mind paying for court time as long as it is under $30. I will be working at the College of Santa Fe too! Let me know if you know of a group to play with. It doesn't matter if its men or women.

I just customized the appearance of my profile page. You can do that too. There's a lot of stuff you can do on here if you get in there and tweak it.

Thanks for the friends requesst Mark! I think this is a great idea and I wish you well.

I'm an Industrial Designer, formerly out of LA area and now in Chicago. I'm a strong 4.0 reaching for 4.5's too (when my body permits it!)

    thanks for the site!

I've heard of that show but never had the chance to watch. My friends tell me it's hillariously funny lol.

This is very interesting. Saw it on Craig's List for Phila. I'm not too into "chatting" with strangers, and not looking for any kind of "dating service," but might be interested if it could lead to a few good local friends who like to play. I'll check on the "Philly" crowd. Best wishes.

Thanks so much for starting the site...it's GREAT! Unfortunately I don't have any friends who play in the area, I grew up playing with my dad's friends! Anyway, I joined hoping to meet some local folks to play with. I can't believe the site's only been up for a couple of weeks... WAY TO GO! It feels great to be a among the original members of tennisopolis. Here's to the beginning of many great tennis relationships to come!

    Hey MArk
This is seriously a great idea. I played constantly in SOCAL (USTA and tournaments) but you know how cliquey tennis can be! I moved to CHI and have been without game other than hackers at the park. (That's cool too, but I'm competitive and most weekenders will only take getting beaten a couple of times before they're "busy.")

Anyway - I'm happy to start up the space for Windy City Players. I'll spend some time on it this weekend.

I've designed toys, battery operated ride-in cars, strollers and baby furniture, bikes and ride ons, exercise equipment and now hand tools and garage furniture. I spend a lot of time in Asia. Saw your building - artist studio. Nice!

I do miss some parts of LA - but I am a prairielander at heart and my parents live here. After 20 years in LA it was time to come home. (Gotta check out the indoor courts right next to my office!)
