Hi Tera I am looking to pick up my racket again as well! I played in college about 15 yrs ago and I am also a bit rusty. I took a few community college classes in Tahoe just to play with others and it was a blast! I'm not sure where I rank (nor do I remember where I used to rank) but I am interested in trying us out?! Not too sure of even where we can play around Ventura/Oxnard/Hueneme where there are lit courts but I can check into it :) I am new to this site let me know if you want to meet up. Carri
I'm a beginner but would like to practice more. Weekends are best for me but some evening are ok. I just moved to Thousand Oaks but am in Ventura a lot. Let me know if you'd like to play.
Sarah, I wouldn't mind playing with you. As long as it has been since I've picked up my racket, we may be on a level playing field. Let's pick a weekend. :)
Hi Tera and Sarah,
I'm a beginner in Thousand Oaks and would love to meet up hit with either of you. Evenings and mornings are fine. I'd like to hit a couple times a week if possible!
Mornings don't work for me except on weekends, but evenings are good! Let's get in touch and play. I just sent you a friend request with a message.
Hi Tera, Sarah, and Nia,
I'm also a beginner, but I live in Newbury Park. I don't have any tennis balls yet, even, but I have 2 awesome Prince rackets I just got for my birthday on Sunday. Mornings, early afternoon (preferred), or evenings after about 6:30pm work for me any day of the week. I've had one free lesson, but I have good hand-eye coordination and lots of energy. Let me know if anyone would like to play! :)
I have balls and just got a new grip for my racket so I'm ready to play. Let's try to get together and play. Maybe we can meet somewhere between Newbury Park and Ventura. I'll look for courts midway.
Hi, not sure if any of you are still looking at this post, but I'm open to play whenever. There are lit courts at Camino Real Park in Ventura. I think you have to pay a couple bucks for them to turn on the lights though. There's another court that's really nice at Peninsula Park in Oxnard/Port Hueneme. It's not lit but it's a great location (right on the harbor).
I'm a fairly newer player, rated probably a 3.0. Still learning but want to try to play a couple times a week. If any of you are interested in setting something up (singles or doubles), preferably weekly, please let me know. Feel free to send me a PM or whatever.
I just sent you a message with a friend request.
If you are still interested, I'm interested in playing! :) I'm just like you! Used to play years ago...but I wouldn't say I was a strong player, but ok. Let me know if you would like to go play, esp on weekends.
