Hopefully you don't need to bring a partner. The idea is to get people together who enjoy mixed doubles. We do have a good number of women players in TVTA. We may need to recruit more members.

I participated in USTA tournaments about 20 years ago. Hoping to get back into playing some casual tennis, possibly some tournaments in the future. Want to RSVP the team but not sure what to do. Let me know when and where to show up. Would like to be part of the group.

Hi Michael, welcome to the group. Youre welcome to join our drop-ins on Tues or Thurs after work. RSVP not required. There are a wide variety of players to mix with. Our Mixed doubles drop-in is still forming, hopefully will meet soon. dudley

what time are the drop ins on Tuesdays and Thursdays ? Are they at DVHS ? Who should I ask for ???

Hi Glenn, yes we are meeting Tues and Thurs weather permitting, however Thurs are the more popular. I'm typically at DVHS every Thurs from about 530p. You can ask for me or the group TVTA. Look for us on the first set of courts close to the building, away from the baseball field.

Hi,

 

I haven't quite figured out how to get around in this Tennisopolis, but I'd love to do a drop in mixed doubles group on weekend mornings. I'd prefer Sat. but could do Sun. if that's what turns out to best for others. I wrote & signed up earlier, am rated a USTA 4.0, but most prob. a mid to upper 3.5.  I think the 50 + team I played on out of Stockton in the Nor Cal div. sectionals were runner ups to another member's team who went to the finals. I was rated a 3.0, but with my 4.0 partner won all of our matches so ended now w/4.0 

 

I still have my club membership in Stockton where I do go play every other weekend.

 

I am dying to find a group to play with out here. Work & now live out in Pleasanton.

 

Please let me know if you get this started, or need any help at all.

what is DVHS? Is that Diablo Valley H.S. ?  You mentioned in an earlier e:mail something about playing at Dougherty H.S.

 

Where are the T&TH night play dates & where will the weekend one be?

 

Sorry to bombard you w/many questions?  I am new to the area so need to know where the groups will be laying.
