Hi Anique,
I'm relatively new to the area as well, and is always looking for new people to meet and play with. I'm a 4.0-4.5. I'd love to play with ya. Also, meetup.com has a tennis group as well, and I go to the Optimist events. There is a 4.0 female that goes as well. We probably could have some good doubles matchups.

I'm free on most evenings, so let me know if you ever want to smack the ball around.

Are you registered with USTA?
I just signed up to capitan a 8.0 mixed doubles leagues. We play monday nights I think at 7pm, hopefully out of Pullen park which is in downtown Raleigh right next to NC State.
we have 4 women all level 3.5 and 2 men so far that I think are 4.0 or higher. Lemme know. Sign up fee is $18, matches start June 1st, latest sign up date 6/15.

Welcome to town. I have a fairly flexible schedule and would consider myself about a 4.0 rating. Let me know when you would like to play and I'll be there.

I also just moved here recently from Ireland. Looking for a tennis partner to play regularly. I am about a 3.5 but a little rusty... I usually like to play week nights or weekend mornings.Would you be interested in playing sometime?

Anique and anyone in the Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Durham area-- if you are looking for a hitting partner or someone to play with casually on evenings or on weekends please contact me at sant.k.datta@gmail.com. I am a lefty, topspin, baseliner who played on my high school tennis team but then didn't play for about 20 years (grad school, kids, etc.) but picked up a racquet again two years ago. Played league doubles tennis last year and did pretty well. Would like to keep playing...oh, I have the strokes of a 4.0 and the footwork and fitness of a 3.5.

Hi Anique,

I see the post is old, however, we look to be the same skill level, so I'd love to play singles if you wish.

Evenings on weeknights about 6:30 or 7PM are good or weekends during the day.

Let me know your story.

 

I play about 2-3/week right now and looking for healthy fun competition.

Some of the players that can play regularly are only a 3.0 level and it gets pretty boring.

lol.
