Looking for new weekend players! 4.0-4.5
I just moved here a few months ago. Work has been really busy for me but I squeeze in tennis as much as I can. I live in torrance near the intersection of 405 and 110
I play 4.0 tournaments and i'm looking to be able to compete in 4.5 by summer or at least sometime this year!
Notable traits/style: I have a bigger serve and forehand than most 4.0s. My backhand and volley games is lacking a bit(maybe lower end of 4.0 at worst) but I'm constantly working on it. I have the overhead skills of a 3.0 or less =(.
I'm looking for mostly weekend players. Due to overtime, friends, and maybe tournaments...I may not be able to play every weekend. Sundays are definitely better than Saturdays.
I could play weekday mornings, up until 11am. The closer you are, the better. However, I have two regulars that I been hitting with for weekday mornings. So the chances of weekday mornings arises if my two contacts have scheduling conflicts with me for that week.
Probably like most tennis players, I'm very easy-going. So hit me up and we can try to work something out from there!

I am not sure now about this weekend. I will let you know as soon as I find out though, most likely if I can, it will be Saturday. But definitely I can play next weekend! Looking forward to it :) Where do you usually play at?

This sat would be better than next weekend. I'll be out of town next sat and as of right now, unsure if I'll still be out on Sunday. So if not this sat, maybe next Sunday late afternoon-ish?
I have been playing at rowley park in gardena, I live close to sur la brea and lomita park in Torrance.
I have a membership card for alta vista park in redondo. Which is funny since the guy that convinced me to get the card recently had surgery and can no longer play with me for a few months. :-/
I played a few times at redondo beach union hs.
I also travel to west Hollywood to play with one guy but I hate the drive there. Takes almost an hour 1 way.
Let me know if you have a court preference, I love trying out new courts as long as they are maintained well. Wind screens and/or lights are a plus! -

I usually play at Westend Racket Club in Torrance. But I also play some round robin at Alta Vista sometimes. Redondo High has good court, and that should work for both of us on the weekend, I think.
You travel all the way to WH to play tennis?! Guess you are really a tennis lover! Well, me too, but maybe not as much as you are ;)
The reason I am not sure now about this Sat is because I may play a league match on Saturday, but if now, I am free to hit. Otherwise, let's try next Sunday if you are available. Here is my number, so you can also text me which is easier than this chat.
