Any one want to play tennis this weekend. I hit pretty well and am a pretty good practice partner. Not sure of the rating 3.0 to 4.0, but thinking more toward the 4.0. prefer the sellwood area or gabriel park area.

you have to be specific about your rating. most 4.0's are former college players in their 40's and 50's who can play but are a little slower. some of the ranked jr tennis players are at the 4.0 level. if you have never played any form of competition at the USTA 4.0 level. then it's hard to justify you are really a 4.0. you need to be rated by a tennis teaching pro. you should start yourself at the 3.0 level and see how you play out.
I played in high school and had a waiver to play for Clackamas community college. Thats where they pay for your college during the term that you play tennis, so it wasn't a full ride. I put the 3.0 to 4.0 up because I played with someone who was a 3.0 to 3.5 and I was just as good. But honesly, I don't know how they got rated. Oh and I played in the US Open...just kidding. Do you want to play tennis.
Maybe you could possibly direct me to some people that are wanting to hit.
if you want to test your skill against the 4.0 level players or higher. just contact the players here. there are quite a few. or go to PTC on friday's for their mixer or sunday night at st john's RC. you have to be willing to travel a little bit. the players are out there. there's another tennis site i would recommend but we don't want to get admin all pissy and have their feathers ruffled up. shoot me an email and i'll tell you what site to go to.
Would love to hit around. I am in the SE and can make any area from here to Sellwood work. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can make something happen.
Thanks for the reply. I just got a home in Oregon city and am all day and night into moving and renovations. Will be emailing you soon though. Thanks.
