Friday was fun, William, but disorganized. We were set up with two ladies and proceeded to play mixed doubles with them for the entire two hours. Guess socials normally move you to play others, right? But I did enjoy the group I played with so I was happy.

The Tennisplex in Germantown has doubles socials just about every Friday night - $15 from 7-9pm. Going for the first time tonight to check it out but heard it's crowded and unorganized. http://montgomerytennisplex.com/

A question: Are there any tennis social meetups coming up in the near future? With the weather being iffy for outdoor tennis on the times I usually play, was curious if there were any tennis gatherings in the MD/DC area coming up before Christmas or so. Any info would be most appreciated.

Glenn - if you wanna know why I'm sorta irritated w/WTT league right now - in my team currently there's a certain arrogant person from the 3.0 league - from the team "Just Wanna Play." Irritating to no end.

Glenn, just got your message. I am going to drop out of my WTT group early tomorrow - was currently in one in Bethesda, but as of so far, not having as much fun as I should be. I'm currently playing every Monday night over at Olney Sports Center right now with a very competitive pick-up group - trying to regain the skills I lost during the 3.0 league. Sorry that I can't join you. BTW was Adam still interested in checking Olney out?

Hey folks, we need players for World Team Tennis. I need a 3.5 to 4.0 guy and the 3.0 to 3.5 league needs players/another team. Only have three teams in that league and would like a fourth to round out play.
