I can play this weekend. Let me know. I have 3 different courts in my area. I also have a tennis ball machine and full gears in case you need anything.

I usually play at Griffith's park if you take Vermont Ave. all the way north which ends in the park. Then turn right on Commonwealth by the golf course parking and you'll see it. Very nice, shady with alot of trees, place to hike.

Two other sets of courts are in or by the park also. Take Riverside Ave. north into the park and you'll see a merry go round on the left. Alot of picnic people. Or Riverside/Franklin Ave by the fountain. Some freeway noise.

If you'd like to hit Sat. morning or afternoon, just casual fun, that's cool. I didn't have anybody to hit with last Sat. :(

Im in the same situation.  About a 3.0-3.25 and haven't played much in the last year.  Would love to get back out and start playing a couple times a week ;-)

Hey Lisa, I'm actually in a similar mold. Moved into LA for residency about two and a half months ago. I'm not prolific in tennis, since I couldnt manage to keep up with the game since med school. I'd like to try out some hitting though, and gauge my ability in the game. Weekends would be great!
