Greetings all. I'm an ex college player, D2 school. Been out of tennis shape for nearly 2 yrs...raising my family. I just moved to SF area (Jan13), from LA. Looking to start up again, SLOWLY please. I'm probably a 4.0 player now. Used to be 5-0 to open in my prime. I'd love to get a routine of doubles out there if any groups out there need a 4th. I'm located in Castro Valley, so surrounding areas only please as I've got daddy duties that limit my time.

Congrats to being able to add tennis to your daddy duties! I'm trying to become 4.0 around Walnut Creek. Let's keep in touch for possible play somewhere in between.
Hey Sam, thanks for reaching out. I'll definitely stay in touch. I just found a wall last weekend to get things moving again. I'll look you up soon.
Glad to hear you're on the right way.
BTW, HF courts have wall and ball machine, how about yours? :)
Not sure what/where "HF" refers to. The wall I found was just at a public park down the street...no ball machine.
HF = Heather Farm, Walnut Creek
I've maintain public 'tennis' map, you're welcome to add your places:
Are you interested in joining USTA 4.0 team?
yes, eventually. I may embarrass myself right now. Need to get back in shape first. but absolutely yes!
are you still looking for a hitting partner? I live in san ramon, and used to play in HS and on/off since then. I think i am about 3.5-4. Recently started playing again casually and I want to improve a bit more. I am also a new daddy, so I am available on sat morning, sun morning or limited weekdays PM.
thanks for reaching out. congrats on being a dad as well. good to know my pain is shared. Yeah, I'm definitely interested to hit. probably 30min to an hour at most to start off. I'll PM you my cell and let's meet up.
You, could count me in for San Ramon - firstname.lastname@example.org and 732.707.7027
