Play in/near Walnut Creek; 3.0+ can play singles or doubles afternoons/evenings

Hi, Sandy, I'm looking for someone to hit/play with in the evenings, as well.  I'm around a 3.5, single or doubles is good for me, as well.  I'm free every evening after 6 P.M., and I live in Concord.  I'm looking to make new friends and tennis buddies to practice with.  Hope to hear back from you.  Valjean

Hi Valjean,

That's great!  I'd love to get together to rally, practice, and play singles or doubles.  If you are free tonight at 6pm, a bunch of us are meeting at Larkey Park courts in WC (corner of 1st Ave and Buena Vista) to rally and play doubles -- if we have enough people we'll play on two or three courts and rotate around for fun.  Join us if you can (my cell  phone is 925 899 9251 just in case); otherwise, maybe you and I can meet at 6pm some other weeknight.

Sam - thanks for the info. i tried to join this meet up but was declined and told "we have too many players at the moment and risk flooding the public courts that we play on" which now seems odd to me if they are designating the number of people for each event; but i suppose they are filling up quickly.

Krista, sorry to hear that. Hopefully, tennisfreaks change their decision. Meanwhile, two of us could take risk flooding the public courts - how about this Thursday or Friday evening?
