I just moved to Alameda and live near at South Shore Beach and Tennis so I have access to private courts and I am close to Washington Sq. Park Courts. I really want to learn how to play tennis and would love some help. I'm a quick learner, but haven't played since I was a kid.
I have tons of availability right now.
Anyone have enough patience to give it a try?

I play at Washington Park. I actually took tennis lessons at South Shore Beach and Tennis when I just started to learn the game 38 yrs ago. I do teach. It doesn't matter where we play. If you're serious. This may take awhile depending on your learning curve. I'm Parker. Hope to see you around. There are plenty of good players at Washington. Peace
I'd love to learn/play. Do you mean you could teach me or that I should just show up at Washington and see if I can get someone to play? Thanks for the help!
I'd love to play with you guys but just want to clarify a few things. 1. Would I be expected to meet every day or is just 1-3 okay? 2. Is it okay to play if I'm a total beginner? and 3. Do you charge anything?
Thanks for responding!!
Thanks for your interest to meet me and my tennis group to play tennis at Washington Park. No, I don't charge anything to meet new players to. My schedule is pretty much set to play on the following days and times:
Sundays from 6:00pm to 10:25pm
Mondays from 7:00pm to 10:25pm
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30pm to 10:25pm
Fridays from 5:00pm to 10:25pm
Saturdays from 6:00pm to 10:25pm
It's okay to play for a beginner. I'm a 2.5 to 3.0 beginner myself too. My group and I have been playing at Washington Park on those days and times. I also play at my townhouse: Islandia Homeowners Association tennis courts in Alameda Bay Farm Island on Sunday mornings from 8:00am to 11:00am, for the summer with long day lights, my group and I play at Islandia on Mondays and Fridays from 5:00pm to 9:00pm till sunset. The Islandia tennis courts do not have lights or restrooms, but they are very nice 2 private tennis courts to play at which I like to play the most. I look forward to meet you and introduce you to my tennis group to play tennis at Washington Park. I can also meet you at the South Shore Beach and Tennis Club to play tennis with you and your group, if you know of anybody from the South Shore Beach and Tennis Club, since you have access to these private tennis courts just as I have access to the Islandia tennis courts with the key.
