I have never played downtown, are there any high schools or lighted city courts nearby?

I live in downtown and work in Torrance.  But I get home between 5-5:30.  Where do you normally play?

I have been playing at Cheviot Hills, but it would be good to find some courts downtown on weeknights or in Torrance on weekends or after 7:30pm weeknights

I would love to meet downtown 5pm or later to play tennis. I live in Korea Town so I am very close by. Art there courts in the area that you prefer?

I don't really know the best place.  There are some courts by the 101 and Glendale Blvd, not sure if people can play at the local high schools, I am told that the courts at U$C are sometimes available.  The courts at Riverside and the 5 are good but in the opposite direction of my drive home.  6 or 7pm on weekdays normally works for me.  anthonywirth at g mail

I work and live in downtown, and I usually play in Echo Park Tennis court. That's the court by the 101 and Glendale Blvd. USC tennis courts are nice, but there's no lights.

I would love to play at the echo park courts - I have yet to find anyone who wants to play there. What do your evenings look like for next week?

I can play in the evenings after 6 PM this coming weekdays except Wednesday.
