Hey All! Realize it's last minute, but send me a message ASAP if anyone is free to hit tonight @7pm at Astoria Park.  I'm a 4.0 player, and I'm OK with someone who is as low as a 3.0 level.  Weather's great and I just want to get out and hit the courts. Andres - 617-880-9909

I'm not sure if you can book or not. I've never booked. I typically play on the weekdays because it is less busy. I think that it gets rather crowded on the weekends when the weather is nice. There's a 1 hour time limit so if you arrive every 5 or 10 minutes before every half hour on weekends, there could be a court available. As far as I know, most of the people simply just show up and try and walk on a court.

Yes, the Astoria BLVD stop on the N/Q train is near Astoria Park. When you get off the subway, walk west for 10 streets (to 21st street). The courts are at 21st street and Hoyt Ave right under the bridge. There are 14 courts and close by is a track.

Is there subway station near by the astoria park? I'm at Long Island City and not too far but still not easy to get there without public transportation. I'd love to play there with somebody definitely though!

In Sunnyside but can travel easily about 3.0 but need to practice... can sometimes do early before work (7am) after work and weekends. I also enjoy practicing with rallies, returning serves singles and/or doubles...
