Hope everyone is starting to get some tennis in with the weather on the verge.. James, a member of this group, and I played yesterday for a couple of hours in Ghent. Felt good to get out there! Only the 2nd time playing in 2011, but I'm pumped for the season to start. Anyone getting involved in league play this spring? I'm looking to get more involved this year.

I saw a weather forecast saying a high of 62 degrees on Saturday. Sounds like tennis weather to me. Anyone want to play midafternoon? I think most of the alcohol should be out of my system by then.

I hit often at Owl Creek Tennis Center in VA Beach. It is close from my work and staff members are all nice. It also ofers different levels of group and individual classes. Here is the link:

Hey Corey... welcome to the group. When I moved here I was looking for a club to join as well. However, closest one to P'town is Tidewater Tennis Center...too far for me to go to after work...traffic. Here's a link that details the tennis facilities in the area.
