I'm not sure we can play at GCC, unless you've played there already?

Glorietta according to my friend are nice courts but its a $5 hour fee. Not sure if you still want to go that route? Let me know. Where are you coming from by the way?

I haven't played at GCC. I am ok with playing for courts but if you are not I'm all good with that. I know there's a court at Glenoaks Park (off glenoaks blvd by the 2). I believe it's free and there is shade.

 

I live close by the Americana. I know there's a free court at Maple Park (maple st between chevy chase and glendale ave)

 

I'm open to suggestions to where to play! I'll be coming from work in downtown LA...

Ok I got an idea, there are two parks within the Glorietta Park vicinity.

Nibley Park, which I have played at before, and Montrose Community Park. They both have 2 courts on the premises. I can try Montrose, while you can try Nibley (google map coordinates: 34.164126,-118.238339). If both are taken, we can try Glorietta which is in the middle of the two.

Let me know what you think? Also, are you ok with playing in the evening? That way it isn't too hot.

that's funny.. i think I passed by Nibley Park courts over the weekend and I think those courts are shaded....I would love to play in the evening but this week I'm only available to play in the afternoon since I have some family in town and we are taking them around at night..Let me know if you want to reschedule.. I can play from 4-6pm today...

Hey Doug, thanks for chiming in. I play with M.G. usually on Thursdays but at 4pm. I'll see what day opens up for me during the week, and we can setup something for the evening. What time were you thinking?

Hi M.G., Not sure if you have a group of people to play with you and where you guys to play. I am looking for hitting partner to play singles or doubles. I am a 3.5-4.0 player. I can play in SGV area.
