I won another tournament this weekend! :)

Last weekend, I got out smarted by a guy who just lobbed me to death. I was soooooo mad and frustrated that I just self imploded and lost in the first round, which I haven't done since last year. This is when the mental aspect of the game is essential! I just lost my cool and handed my opponent the match with cookies and milk.
On another note, the last 6 tournaments I've entered, I won 4, lost in the finals in 1,(which was to a guy named Yannick , but I got my revenge and slaughtered him in this past weekends tournament 6-0,6-2 in the finals to win) and gave a lobber the match with cookies and milk in the other. Not bad I guess.

My 5.0 team is on the way to districts again (3rd yr in a row) we won it the last 2 yr's

Impressive Mr. Spoerl! I too am currently still holding strong onto my #1 ranking position. :) I have won 5 tournaments this year and have made it to the finals on 4 others.
My 4.0 Laney team won our second round playoff match today and will be playing the winner of the 2nd flight next weekend.

I just signed up for jrrc.
I guess the grand prix is at grrc (in my backyard) so imma try to get a 3.5 lady and a 4.5 guy qualified. I will play some 5.0 ball and show em' how it is done ;)

Ya, I'm looking forward to going up to Gold River! :) And, YES, the quality of the players in leagues is DEFINITELY much greater! I love playing league, but I also hate the fact that we only get to play 1 match! At least in tournaments, if you win your first round, you can play another match that day. Nice man, sounds like you are producing some good players bro! :)
