Permalink Reply by Meags on December 31, 2010 at 4:27am ^^^^it was that omni stuff if i can remember. We have it in abundance in the UK as its all weather, personally I hate it. Much prefer hardcourts and proper clay which is rare here, we have shale and thats s**t!
Off to play in a couple of hours. The snow has cleared so Ive got a couple of days play before the wife could complain....:)
Permalink Reply by Meags on December 31, 2010 at 5:48am I think my new painting "Deuce" would makea good symbol for Tennisopolis.....although it would be difficult to useon a header!
Deuce (2010) 180cm x 140cm
oil & spray paint on canvas
Duece is a painting of the Cocoon nebula system, the death of a star, giving birth to new life. In the painting a giant sun gives birth to a new star, a modern more technological star making references to Darwin and evolution as progress and anologous to man's continual persuit for perfection.
Rafa Nadal serving into the bottom left corner makes reference to the pedestal we put our stars on, something that rivals the anormity of what's going above our heads.
