Recognize these names, Frederico Gil, Marco Chiudinelli, Benjamin Mitchell? What about these  players, Gilles Simon, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic?

These are just a few players John Isner has successfully defeated this 2012 season. The 6'9, 245lb pound Goliath has show that David's odds or not looking to great this year. WIth a record of 17-6, and four of those coming off of clay. Johns victory over Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and going five sets with Rafael Nadal at Roland Garros last year, one has to think that John is the leading Dark Horse going into the French open.

Don't take the bet Kyle.  You will lose.  Cilic isn't even a "clay courter".   Doesn't bode well for him going forward.

Ah, it's not really a "bet" in the strictest sense. No one loses anything here. Hal is donating a case of balls to fund the bet.

Isner loses at Wimby in the first round! OMG!

Timmeh you're shocked???

You didn't catch my sarcastic tone?

nah it wasn't obvious >:)  .. just rubbin a little more seasoning to those festering wounds

The dark horse with the festering wounds. Geez, that's almost poetic. lol

Why can't "Big John" go farther at at the big W? Isner keeps playing these early round marathons when he should be cruising and conserving his energy.

John Isner

Doesn't look too dominant in that picture, Craig.

John didn't hold up at these slams. That's usually the case when you break through. You have to leant to take hold of the media and the presure, and change your schedule to play less events. Just because as we all know when you break into the top ten you go deeper into the events.

What Happen to our boy the Dark Horse in this years aussi open, does anyone know?
