The Dunlop Ball is typically heavier and Slower and have more fuzz, US Pro Penns or USPTA pro Penns are smaller lighter and faster. Wilson regular Heavy duty are regular hard court balls and I like regular to slower balls. the Wilson USopens are smaller faster balls like the pro-penns. practice balls and depressurized balls are CR@P. I also like any ball on sale. I have also found that beginners hit dead balls better and Tournament players dont practice enough with newer…

I used Penn all through high school and college. I prefer Penn. I think the felt around the ball is not that tight when brand new. I use a heavy topspin and I'm able to grip the ball much easyer. I have a harder time with a new Wilson ball. I'm not able to grip a new Wilson ball that easy compared to Penn.

<p>Luckily our group always has two to three guys bring balls...it's like an unspoken rule now...bring quaters for the lights and you better bring balls once a couple of weeks (we have enuff players that that is enuff)</p>

Yeah i tend to stick with head atp balls in the gold tin as they seem to hold up the best and are a little harder imo.<br />
I do however change balls for every match. Some at ny club have had the same set in their bag for years ha!<br />
