Bummed out...

I was late to register for a local tournament here in the bay area.  So I called the tournament director and asked him if he could get me in.  He assured me over the phone that it was no problem and that it would be his pleasure to put me on the draw which was coming out the next day.  I thanked him and said I would bring the tournament fee with me on the first day of the tournament.  So the next day, I check the draw and my name wasn't there!  I called the director right away and he admitted he totally forgot about me.  urrrg.  He then said he wishes he could change the draw and add me but it wasn't possible since the draws were already posted.  The reason I am so bummed it because it is the last tournament of the year, and I have been practicing a lot and even eating right.  My goal was to try and earn as many grand prix points so I can get invited to the grand prix tournament.  I'm currently ranked 53rd in N. Cali, as far as tournament grand prix points ranking. http://tennislink.usta.com/tournaments/rankings/rankinglists.aspx?i...  The director told me that his club will be hosting another tournament in March of 2011 and that he would waive my tournament fees.  That's cool, but I was really preparing myself for this weekends tournament!  I was feeling good and really thought I had a good chance to take this 1.  Bummed out...
