I am so stoked - it all depends on how the draw falls out for him. :-)
Hopefully he gets Nole in the first round and shocks the world!
Sounds like his confidence is still growing!
It depends on the draw. He's definitely got a good clay game. Pretty good return game and a decent serve but I'm not sure how he'll transition to grass. It's doubtful he's played much on that surface.
I don't expect him to go further than two rounds.
If he wins two rounds he'll break top 100 I believe. What does it take to get direct acceptance into the USO main draw?
If he breaks into the top 100, I'm sure they'll let him in. One way or another. Can't leave a hot player out.
I don't think he'll do as well on grass though. We will have to see. It looks like he's not too shabby on grass being a semifinalist at Wimby as a junior. I hope, like Mr. Mayor says, we get a shocker from him in the early rounds with a big scalp (not Feds) hehe
Let's see if becomes a Tsonga dark horse type guy for years to come.
Don't think that will happen. Tsonga, is on a completely different level than Baker.
Tough first and second rounds for Brian Baker. Rui is dangerous. I've seen his clay game and he's no push over. Whomever wins between Feli and Jarrko will be tough also and they're both lefties as well
