I hate them.  But I demolished one of them this morning!  Nothing more satisfying that to CRUSH a pusher.

Hate em, just a waste of time for me. No help to my game and if I wanted to play someone like that I can play a 10yr old and not waste my weekend time in a tourney. But, hey they come in all shapes and sizes, and they do win, the "Winning Ugly" disciples. Plus they will be there in 4.5 and 5.0 never go away.
I can't stand them. To me, it's not tennis...it's just a bunch of jirations on a beautiful tennis court...ruins the scene...

you are my hero

Sometimes it seems so easy, but if you let one get under your skin, you are in trouble.

I've been able to separate from them for the most part by just getting a little bit better.  I used to be an average 4.0 and would tighten up when playing against this style - try to beat them at their own game - NEVER DO THAT.  :-)  Then I gained confidence in my strokes and now I run them around, move in and volley it away.

Couldn't agree with you more M.  I think the main thing to remember against a pusher, is to maintain your mental game and keep head strong.  Avoid getting frustrated and definitely don't fall into his game.  Play your game, and control the net!
