I have been working with several coaches, now I would like to start playing tennis. I am fortunate to be working with an x-tennis pro from Europe, we talk tennis almost every day along with instruction. So back to my initial question how does one find entry level partners?

Do yourself a big favor, find a qualified coach. The best coaches generally get the best students ie: the ones who coach the top ranked juniors in your area - but not always. You have to ask around, get opinions. Try out a few coaches and see which one communicates best to you. Tennis is a very highly skilled sport. It is like learning to play a musical instrument.
Just getting started in Tennis at age 56 and looking for a partner of equal skills. Very athletic all my life baseball, football, alot of basketball, running years ago no longer, tread mill 4 days week, but a novice when it comes to tennis. I would say I have a few months under my belt against a wall. Need to start playing to begin learning the game. How does one locate a partner?

With the new 40+ in USTA, perhaps it should be over 40?

Anyway, I think strategy play is the way to go as it's the only way I can have an edge over the younger players! Also, there's nothing like taking off the pace for those hard hitters.

Playing several times a week is a great way to stay healthy in mind and body.

What you say is all correct. I do not disagree with any of this. The distinction is the inside-in DTL being an offensive but within percentage tennis.
