Tennisopolis : Tennis Social Network

I have this idea for this thread.
You know how there are all these kernels of tennis wisdom that are easier said than done? They can be so frustrating in their simplicity. Let's list all the prophetic one-liners in this thread. Try to avoid discussion, oh, and one at a time please. :-)

run towards the ball.
Descriptions of what to do with my body always throw me:

"Keep your eye on the ball. But keep your head down."

"Use your legs for power"

"Rotate your shoulder"

"Keep your wrist loose"
how about saying keep it still
Interesting - I've never heard "keep it still.":
Whenever I play, there is an audience of 10,000 fans. Sometimes they get so excited that they stand up and jump around between points. So the chair umpire will tell the fans, "keep it still" so my opponent isn't distracted.
Yeah, at my matches, a common saying is "no flash photography please."
i'm sorry ..my bad. i meant "keep your head still."
ahhh, yes that's a good one.
How about, "brush up on the ball".
"are you sure?" refering to line calls
How far out was that? ;-)
Keep your tossing arm up as long as you can with your serve.

I have to tell myself that whenever I start netting them. Works almost every time =)
