I also took the opportunity to assist the community staff with establishing a schedule for the tennis court as we only had one. The court was in great condition and had somewhat of a covered patio, much like a gazebo, which is rare for most any individual court.

I scheduled a court time with and a friend and we headed to the court to work on her game as she had just taken up the sport.

We arrive and I see this guy and girl on the court. I waited until they finished a game and asked, as I usually would, "Are you near finishing your match? “No", was his reply." This crappy little attitude came pouring through as if I had asked him something totally abhorrent.

I remember it like it was yesterday.

I was 11. I was in a tournament and I hit a winner around the net post. The opponent complained and said it wasn't fair. I said "fine, let's take this argument to the tournament director." The director said that we should replay the point. I told him that I knew the rules and this ruling is incorrect. I asked him to look it up in the rule book. HE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE RULE BOOK THERE!

SMAC Atlanta Open/NTRP Spring Classic (GA Level II-200 pts, STA 100 pts))

I have a complaint about the Finals I Played today....I was Treated unfairly by the ref.
The referee of the finals refused to Call flagrant foot faults on my opponent on every serve. She said that I was foot Faulting as well.

I explained to the female ref that I was not foot faulting, That I was allowed to Hit the Ball in the Air and Be inside the Court, as long as I didnt touch the court before I Struck the Ball....
The Ref then Left and was not there to call foot faults. After a 10 to 15 minutes pass the Ref Comes back with the Rule book... Reads the rules from the rule book about foot faults. I Point out in friend on Court 2012 rule book that I was correct & that she needed to call foot faults on my opponent & Also that I was not foot faulting. my opponent admitted to & agreed to foot fault calling because he admitted to having a problem of foot faulting. Again she Refused and said that she has been a Ref for 20 years And That I was foot faulting, so she was not going to call the foot faults. There is about 10 Games worth of points That I lost because the Ref Refused to listen or admit her mistake.
My Opponent would take at times a 12 inch advantage into the court on every serve. the Match was very unfair & i was not able to over come the advantage that the Ref Gave to the opponent. The Ref Then Leaves again. and Doesn't Show up till the match is over... I lost because Loss of focus because of the Ref telling me that I was foot faulting ( when I wasn't ) And that She would not Make calls against my opponents kinda/Cheating.
After the Match the Ref Comes to me and apologies for making a mistake & that I was correct about the foot faults of my opponent & That I was not foot Faulting. I Still am a little bitter about this. I have been in the top ten in the eastern Section, Georgia & have been a Top men's open player & Mens 30...this is the first time I have been cheated by a ref in my 20 years coaching and Playing competitive tennis. I hope that I can get some pay back in in the form of points since I was cheated by a USTA official. So i started collecting racquets for give-a-ways to kids as rewards for working hard on the tennis court.....I give them a wooden racquet if they are becoming a tennis player. I resale older racquets like the wilson 6.1 & 6.0 which are top of the line racquets.

but my story comes from me growing up poor and in a poor environment. I didnt get my first set of racquets until i was 19 Years old im 35 now.... or is it this year? So I vow to help those kids in need buy being able to give them a Racquet that they can play good tennis with.

Now I have been collecting racquets for a while now. I think I may have too much.....because I have been Stringing racquets for 2 weeks now and I haven't stopped.

So now I am gonna list every single racquet I have here. just to give everyone the feeling of why i dont like stringing racquets.
I Need some good tennis reviews please attag:tennisopolis.com,2012-02-15:1869403:Topic:8530322012-02-15T18:57:04.987ZCoachV - William Vazquezhttp://tennisopolis.com/profile/CoachV

hes 1# on the wait bench/line. Then in 2# were to kids, 3# to adults, 4# me by myself with my jack krammer prostaff woody. I ask all everyone on the line if I can hit with them for 5 mins because I was on bicycle and wanted to go riding too. All i wanted was to show off a bit then go about my day. then

The Epeeing guy lesson doesnt show up on time. Or the court he wants is not ready yet. so he sneaks over to the guys and gives up his court to the adults and not the kids.......

IM like ok....Then Court 1 opens up...the kids head over to it and start hitting. The Epeeing guy gets a phone call goes over to the kids and that asshole kicks the kids off.

The kids seemed Shaken up a bit. I asked them why did you get off the court....the kids told me that the guy said thats his court and they need permission to use it and that they are rude for not asking...this pissed me off..

I Leased tennis courts from NYC in the bronx When i was there so I know all the rules for parks & Rec there. So not only is this guy breaking the LAW but hes bullying Kids. I am Pissed. So i go over to the guy...

Hey the kids were next right? he said no that the guys were second not the kids even though I talked to everyone on line & they each told me different. OK..

So this Epeeing guy is on court on his phone for 5 mins doing nothing. I tells the kids im gonna try and get us on that court for five mins & give you a free lesson for your troubles. I go to the Epeeing guy and ask Hey can the kids & i Hit till your lesson shows up & he say IM waiting for a friend who will be here in 5 minutes & im not teaching a lesson...( BUll Shit ).... Another 5 mins go buy....No show from client...I go to the guy again and ask again. He tells me that he is just going to practice his serve & he is not teaching a lesson...I tell him hey you are breaking the LAW by holding the court & trying to teach a lesson.

epeeing guy is standing on the court for 20 mins un till his lesson showed. So I started bashing him to all the locals on the wait bench/line. one of them was his client. The client was supprised that he done that to the kids.I also heckled him during his lesson. I called the Parks Dept on him. I also watch him rip off his client. He made the Beginner woman to a 15min warm up before the lesson even though she was late. He made about $100 I think for that lesson...

I got on court and I let everyone waiting play with me on court. to bash the epeeings guy reputation some more to the locals.

I know IM not court police, but what that guy did was wrong. The eppeing guy was also scared of me... might have been because I looked like IM from the bronx too....& Yes I was out there to hussel

Here is the background for this question:

You invite someone because of the level that they say they are. Then you play once or twice to gauge each other's true level. If you find out the other player's level is not sufficient to sustain a reasonable warm-up rally much less to have a competitive game, how do you politely decline playing again with that person. Someone has suggested that you just avoid that person or ignore his phone calls. The other option is to suffer in silence. I believe that it is better to let the other person know by gently explaining the situation rather than leaving him clueless.
